Combining Asian and French architecture, the Sofitel Imperial Hotel resort is set amidst nine acres of tropical gardens by Wolmar Beach on the west coast of Mauritius, 23 kilometres from the capital, Port Louis. Sir Seewoosagur Ramgoolam International Airport is 60 kilometres (37 miles) away, with an approximate driving time of one hour. Hotel Features. The resort's traditional Mauritian thatched buildings are scattered among nine acres of tropical gardens and offer views of the mountains and the sea.
